MEET DEBBIE BROWNE - A SUCCESSFUL MOBILE COLON THERAPIST
Deborah Browne - 2007 Chi Centre Graduate, Aqua-Clinic Device Owner and Mobile Colon Therapist
I graduated from the Chi Centre in 2007, but did not start practicing colon therapy straight away for various reasons. I have travelled a lot as an athlete, and later teaching diving in various parts of the world, and I thought I would find it difficult to settle in one clinic.
In May 2009 I read Galina's regular newsletter and found that Sylvia Broadley, Aqua-Clinic trainer, was selling her mobile practice and Aqua-Clinic equipment because she was relocating to Turkey. I was instantly interested. Sylvia told me that she had managed to build this profitable practice in less than 12 months, so I saw the potential immediately.
After doing a refresher course with Sylvia and shadowing her for a few months, I finally took over the four-location practice in October 2009. By that time I had met all her existing clients and they were introduced to me and knew that I would take over.
In the short time that I have had the mobile colon hydrotherapy business, I have managed to add another location closer to where I live. I am now in negotiations with two golf clubs in Greater Manchester area, and their interest is extremely strong. Steve is always available to talk to plumbers and maintenance personnel at my locations, so I don't run into any technical problems, which is a blessing.
Now I perform on the average between 15 and 19 treatments per week. I don't spend much on advertising: virtually all my new clients come from word of mouth referrals. Ideally I'd like to have five or six venues in short driving distance from home, and have four full days per week performing colon therapy. I have had some nutritional education, but I am looking forward to the Chi Centre starting their nutrition course for colon therapists in 2011.
How has my Chi Centre training helped me? When I was choosing a colon therapy training centre I spoke to everyone, and then I narrowed my choices to three. I went to see Galina in Maidenhead, and I knew instantly that this is the place where I wanted to be trained. This is not me at all, usually I am prone to going back on my decisions and double or treble-checking. But this time, I did not have any second thoughts at all. I am ecstatic that I trained in the Chi Centre. Everything - the theory, the practicals, the exacting hygiene standards, client care and aftercare are, as I understand now, well above industry average. I meet colon therapists trained by others, and they wish they trained in the Chi Centre.

After what felt like years of feeling sluggish, tired and bloated. I decided that I would try a colonic irrigation, as I’d heard over many years how good they was. And was curious as to find out if they did what they said they did.
As it so happened, some flyers were brought into my place of work, so after only a minute’s hesitation I rang the Colonic clinic. There I spoke to Deborah, who was really helpful, she asked me many questions, which I tried to answer as honestly as possible. From there we made an appointment to visit her at a site within my own area.
When I got there I was quite nervous, but she put me at my ease very quickly, explained what everything was and encouraged me to ask questions. The procedure went very well and have since has it done again. I cannot tell you how I’ve felt since my very first procedure. I’ve had so much more energy, no bloating and no aching legs, she also gave me lots of nutritional advice which I have followed, so all in all it got the thumbs up from me and I would recommend it to anyone.
